Our Story: When Brushing Wasn't Enough

The idea for LIVFRESH Dental was born out of frustration—our founder's personal struggle with severe plaque, bad breath, and worsening oral health, even while following a rigorous routine of brushing, flossing, and mouthwash.

Like 200 million other Americans, traditional toothpaste wasn't working. Research showed us the truth: most teeth cleaning comes from the friction of the brush, leaving major gaps near the gumline and in the hard-to-reach nooks of the mouth. The problem wasn't us; it was the product.

Solving a Chemistry Problem

In 2009, we decided to invent the alternative—a daily clean that felt close to a professional one. We approached plaque as a chemistry problem. After six years of research, we developed our proprietary formula: Activated Edathamil.

This patented ingredient uses metal ion modulation to literally break down existing plaque and prevent new plaque from attaching to the tooth surface. It’s a completely different way to clean.
